Multi-Institutional Research Positions

Following the mandate of the Ontario Consortium for Cardiac Imaging, a central pool of funds has been established to support researchers working explicitly on projects aimed at promoting the linkage between research groups within the Consortium. Funding of up to $40K will be provided toward the salary and $2K for inter-site travel/accommodation for an individual to develop research tools for use across the Consortium. Such individuals are expected to spend significant time at more than one site within the consortium on projects that link research goals of multiple investigators. Applicants are encouraged to think more broadly and to consider other modalities or sites that could benefit from this work, gauging their interest as appropriate. The funds will be designated initially for one year and renewable for a second year. Successful applicants must submit a 3-page report at 6 months and a poster at the Imaging Network Ontario symposium.

To apply, the collaborating principal investigators must provide:

  1. A 1-2 page description of the planned project, including the role of each institution participating;
  2. A list of participating principal investigators within the OCCI, their institutional affiliations and the proposed individual to be supported - to be eligible, at least two institutions within the OCCI must be represented in this application;
  3. The CV and current source of salary support of the individual to be supported - this could be a post-doc or technical staff; and
  4. Letters of support (email) from all participating OCCI investigators.

Submit application by email to christine.sudeyko @ sri.utoronto.ca or mail to:
